Read this first
Ford's handbook splits the cluster into warning lamps (a condition that could become serious) and indicators (a feature that is on), and it gives each a short action rather than a colour, so the colour column below is left blank. Two things are Ford's own. The spanner is Ford's Powertrain Fault lamp — the engine, transmission or drive needs service — not a service reminder. And there is one Brake System lamp for both an applied parking brake and low brake fluid, so check the parking brake is fully off before assuming a brake fault. This is a US handbook; European Fords print the same lamps but can differ in detail.

Brake system warning light
Ford calls it “Brake System”.

ABS warning light (anti-lock brakes)
Ford calls it “Anti-Lock Braking System”.
