LG oven symbols
11 symbols that LG itself documents, each in our own drawing, with the LG name for the mode next to ours. Tap a symbol for what it does, where makes differ and every source.
Check your manual — models differ. Two LG ovens can carry different sets of symbols, and the same drawing can mean different things on different brands; only your model’s manual says exactly which elements run and how hot.
Read this first
LG’s built-in ovens show many modes as display icons and by name. On the WSED7613S manual checked here, Hot Air is the fan oven (recommended 160 °C), Fan Assisted Air lets you cook 20–40 °C lower than top and bottom heat, and Rapid Preheat works only in Hot Air, Top Bottom Heat and Fan Assisted Air and should be off when baking on more than one rack. Pyrolysis is on the WSED7613 model only. Other LG models have other sets, so check your manual.
The 11 symbols
Top and bottom heat (conventional)
LG calls it “Top Bottom Heat”.

Fan oven (hot air, true fan)
LG calls it “Hot Air”.

Bottom heat
LG calls it “Bottom Heat”.

LG calls it “Pizza Mode”.

LG calls it “Economic Hot Air”.
