Smeg oven symbols

Check your manual — models differ. Two Smeg ovens can carry different sets of symbols, and the same drawing can mean different things on different brands; only your model’s manual says exactly which elements run and how hot.
Read this first
Smeg’s own UK guide covers more drawings than most, from heating modes to cleaning and timer icons. Watch the word “convection”: Smeg uses it for fan-free top and bottom heat (natural convection), while Samsung’s Convection is the fan oven, so go by the drawing. Smeg says the heating lines may be drawn straight or slightly curved, and its pyrolytic cleaning symbol may be a letter P instead of nine circles. Every confirmation here comes from that one Smeg UK guide.
The 13 symbols
Top and bottom heat (conventional)
Smeg calls it “Top and Bottom Heating”.

Smeg calls it “Fan-Only”.
