Oven light (bulb)
Switches on the lamp inside the oven. On its own it does not heat anything.
What it is for
Checking on food without opening the door (Neff), and lighting the empty oven for cleaning (Bosch, Smeg).
Makes differ, check your oven’s manual: the same drawing can mean different things on different brands, and only your model’s manual says exactly which elements run and how hot.

Where makes differ
Bosch says selecting it leaves every other function off; Smeg says the light can be switched on even when the oven is not in use. Either way it does not heat — if the oven gets warm, another function is selected.
