Roborock: Error 9
The robot does not detect the dustbin and filter. Roborock’s article adds that the filter has a magnet on its side that the robot looks for.
What the robot says: Error 9: Reinstall dustbin and filter
Applies to: Roborock S6; Roborock Support Center article for Roborock robot vacuums. What you notice: red light, flashing or blinking; error number 9; a spoken message. This number is Roborock’s; on another maker’s robot the same number means something else.
What Roborock says to do
- Reinstall the dustbin and filter.
- Look for the magnet on the side of the filter; if there is none, fit a new filter and try again.
- If you continue to see this error, contact Roborock Customer Support.
