Roborock: Error 13
The robot cannot charge on its dock.
What the robot says: Error 13: Charging error. Cleaning charging contacts and try again
Applies to: Roborock S6; Roborock Support Center article for Roborock robot vacuums. What you notice: red light, flashing or blinking; error number 13; a spoken message. This number is Roborock’s; on another maker’s robot the same number means something else.
What Roborock says to do
- Clean the charging contacts on the dock and under the robot; for stains or rust Roborock suggests a cloth dampened with alcohol, or an eraser.
- Check the dock has power: its top light should be on with no robot on it and off with the robot docked. Push the cable firmly into the slot under the dock.
- Unplug the dock for about 2 minutes, plug it back in and try again.
