Roborock: Error 1
The spinning laser unit on top of the robot (its distance sensor) is jammed or blocked.
What the robot says: Error 1: Turn the laser unit and check that it is not jammed or blocked
Applies to: Roborock S6; Roborock Support Center article for Roborock robot vacuums. What you notice: red light, flashing or blinking; error number 1; a spoken message. This number is Roborock’s; on another maker’s robot the same number means something else.
What Roborock says to do
- Switch the robot on and watch whether the laser unit spins.
- If it does not spin, turn it gently by hand, then restart the robot.
- If you continue to see this error, contact Roborock Customer Support.
