Roborock: Error 4
A cliff sensor underneath is reporting a drop. It may be dirty, or the robot may really be at an edge or on dark or shag carpet.
What the robot says: Error 4: Clean cliff sensors, move the main unit away from any drops, then restart
Applies to: Roborock S6; Roborock Support Center article for Roborock robot vacuums. What you notice: red light, flashing or blinking; error number 4; a spoken message. This number is Roborock’s; on another maker’s robot the same number means something else.
What Roborock says to do
- Wipe the cliff sensors.
- Make sure the robot is not on dark or shag carpet, and move it away from any drop before restarting.
- If you continue to see this error, contact Roborock Customer Support.
