Shark: Error 9 or 1094, dust cup error
The robot’s sensors think the dust cup is missing or not pushed fully home.
Applies to: Shark RV2800 series. What you notice: error number 9 or 1094. This number is SharkNinja’s; on another maker’s robot the same number means something else.
What SharkNinja says to do
- Switch the robot off (off the base, hold POWER for 3 seconds) and take out the dust cup.
- Make sure the dust cup’s latch door is fully closed, and clear anything in the dust cup slot.
- Clear the evacuation ports on the robot and the base; a damp cloth lifts caked-on dirt.
- Push the dust cup back until it clicks, put the robot on the base and press VACUUM.
- If the error keeps returning, contact Shark support with your model and this error code.
