Shark: Error 6, bumper error

6
Our drawing of a round robot from above: error number 6.

The front bumper, or the bumper around the LiDAR module on top, may be jammed or blocked.

Applies to: Shark RV2800 series. What you notice: error number 6. This number is SharkNinja’s; on another maker’s robot the same number means something else.

What SharkNinja says to do

  1. Take the robot off the base and hold POWER for 3 seconds to switch it off.
  2. Clear debris from the top, sides and underside of the front bumper, then press the bumper in at the front right, front left, front middle and from the top: it should spring in and out freely everywhere.
  3. Look into the LiDAR module on top for hair or debris; SharkNinja suggests turning it 10 times clockwise with a cotton swab to free it.
  4. Slide the robot onto the base to switch it back on and press VACUUM.
  5. If the error keeps returning, contact Shark support with your model and this error code.
