Shark: Error 7, cliff sensor error
The cliff sensors read the robot as not on level ground, or the robot needs a reset to read its sensors correctly.
Applies to: Shark RV2800 series. What you notice: error number 7. This number is SharkNinja’s; on another maker’s robot the same number means something else.
What SharkNinja says to do
- Switch the robot off (off the base, hold POWER for 3 seconds).
- Turn it over and wipe the cliff sensors under the bumper with a clean, dry cloth.
- Put it back on the base to switch it on, move it to a new spot if needed, and press VACUUM.
- If the error keeps returning, contact Shark support with your model and this error code.
