Sony TV: White LED on or blinking
Normal. Sony’s LED lights or blinks white when the screen is off, while the TV is turning on, when it receives a signal from the remote, and while it updates its software from a USB storage device.
Applies to: Sony BRAVIA Google TV models covered by the 2022 Help Guide (E-180-100-15(1), US English edition), both the illumination LED models and the operational response LED models. What you see: white, on steady; or blinking or flashing, over and over; or blinks or dims once as you press the remote; or blinks while starting up, then stops.

Sony’s page gives no step for this state: it is what the TV normally does, or the meaning above is all it says.
Sony’s guide says how the LEDs light up depends on Settings > System > LED indicator, and it has a separate topic for stopping the LED lighting up or blinking.
