Panasonic TV: Power light flashing, no picture, no remote response (other Panasonic TVs)
Panasonic says a flashing power light, with no picture and no response to the remote, means the TV has encountered some type of internal failure.
Applies to: Panasonic televisions sold in North America, for a TV with no picture, no remote response and a blinking front LED. What you see: colour not named by the maker, blinking or flashing, over and over.
What Panasonic says to do
- Panasonic says to unplug the TV’s power cord for 60 seconds.
- Panasonic says to power the TV from a different outlet, without a power strip or surge protector. If it comes back on and the power light is steady, Panasonic says it may have been a temporary power fluctuation.
- Panasonic says to count how many times the LED blinks: the count helps a technician.
If the problem persists, Panasonic says to contact a Panasonic Authorized Service Center.
