EE hub lights: what each colour means, by hub

EE has a separate help page for each of its hubs. EE says the hub’s name is printed on a sticker on the back. Every EE hub below has one status light; the colour for ‘connected’ is blue on the original Smart Hub and aqua on the newer ones.

One light, different meanings on EE hubs

Where EE gives the same main light a different meaning on different hubs. Knowing the colour alone is not enough.

You see	What EE says, by hub
Flashing blue	EE Smart Hub 6 Plus: The WPS button on the side of the hub was pressed: it is waiting for you to press or select WPS on your computer or device. EE Smart Hub 7 Plus: The WPS button on the back of the hub was pressed: it is waiting for you to press or select WPS on your computer or device.
Steady white	EE Smart Hub 6 Plus: Your Connectivity Backup device is in use and the hub is using the mobile network (resilience mode). EE Smart Hub 7 Plus: Your Connect Backup device is in use and the hub is using the mobile network (resilience mode).
