Liebherr fridge-freezer symbols

The 11 symbols that Liebherr’s own fridge-freezer manuals explain, with Liebherr’s name for each, what it does on a Liebherr, the manual’s own words and the document it comes from. The drawing is ours; tap a symbol for its full page.

The Liebherr guide checked here covers the CN…h 76… fridge-freezers with a touch display: you switch a function on from the menu and the status display shows its symbol while it is on. Liebherr notes that many functions depend on the model and its options. An N in the model name means a NoFrost appliance. Other Liebherr ranges may have a different display, so compare with your own manual.

Makes differ, check your fridge’s manual: the same drawing can mean different things on different brands, and only your model’s manual says exactly what a button does, what temperature it sets and when it switches itself off.

Super cool / fast cool (fridge)

Liebherr calls it: SuperCool

It switches itself off after 18 hours; you can stop it sooner.

“If SuperCool is activated, then the appliance increases the cooling capacity. It allows you to achieve lower cooling temperatures. You can activate SuperCool when you would like to cool a large quantity of food quickly. … SuperCool is deactivated automatically after 18 hours.”

Not in the Liebherr manuals checked

The Liebherr documents below do not show these symbols from this site, so they are left off this page: One star (*), Two stars (**), Three stars (***), Four stars (one large star and three small), No stars, Chill compartment, Ice maker off, Water filter change light and Temperature zones and the “OK” indicator. That does not mean no Liebherr fridge has one, only that the manuals read here do not. If yours shows a symbol not listed, find it by its shape.
