Steady blue
The broadband connection is working.
What BT says to do
- If you can’t get online, turn your computer, tablet or phone off and on and try again.

Steady blue, dimmed
The hub is in auto power save mode.
What BT says to do
- The light goes back to a brighter steady blue once you connect.

Flashing blue
A device is connecting by WPS.
What BT says to do
- Press the WPS button on your computer or device (you have two minutes).

Flashing orange
The hub is starting up, or connecting by WPS: it is trying to connect to the internet or to a WPS device.
BT’s page gives no step for this light.

Steady orange
BT power save mode is on, or there’s a problem with the hub.
What BT says to do
- Press the Restart button.
- If the hub is not in power save mode, the problem is with the internet connection: use BT’s troubleshooter.

Steady red
You’re not connected to broadband.
What BT says to do
- Turn the hub off and on with the Power button.
- If the light doesn’t turn blue, press the Factory Reset button with a paper clip; if that doesn’t fix it, call BT.

Off
The power is off.

- Make sure the Power button on the back is on, and that the power cable is plugged in and switched on at the mains.
