BT Complete Wi-Fi Disc lights: what each colour means

BT lists the disc on the same page as its hubs; the disc’s light is about its own link to your hub. BT’s page calls it both a disc and an adapter.

1. Solid blue

   The disc is connected with a good Wi-Fi or Ethernet link. All is working well.

2. Solid purple

   The disc is starting up; it usually takes about 60 seconds to turn on.

3. Solid orange

   The disc is working OK, but its link could be better.

   1. Move the disc closer to the hub or to one of the other discs.

4. Solid red

   There is a problem.

   1. Press the Power button to turn your hub and disc off and back on.
   2. If the light still doesn’t turn blue, press the disc’s factory reset button with a paper clip.
   3. If that doesn’t fix it, contact BT.

5. Flashing red

   The disc is not connected to your hub.

   What BT says to do

   1. Connect it again using WPS or an Ethernet cable, following BT’s instructions.

6. Flashing blue

   The disc is connecting: WPS has been activated and it is connecting to your hub or your device. This can take a couple of minutes.
