Easee charger: Flashing red at another time

What Easee says to do

1. Easee says: open your charger in the Easee App and follow the instructions for the warning or error shown before trying to charge again.
2. Easee says: if no warning is shown, you cannot check the app, or the red light continues, contact Easee Technical Support.

A similar light on other chargers

The same colour and movement on another maker’s charger can mean something else entirely.

• Tesla: One red blink, repeating — Ground fault circuit interruption: an unsafe current path was detected, and charging is disabled.
• Tesla: Two red blinks, repeating — Ground assurance fault: high ground (earth) resistance was detected, and charging is disabled.
• Tesla: Three red blinks, repeating — High temperature was detected, and charging is limited or disabled.
• Tesla: Four red blinks, repeating — The internet connection was lost; online features are disabled.
• Tesla: Five red blinks, repeating — A communication problem between Wall Connectors linked for group power management; charging is reduced.
• Tesla: Six red blinks, repeating — Overvoltage or poor grid quality was detected; charging is disabled.
• Tesla: Seven red blinks, repeating — Vehicle overcurrent: the car drew more current than expected.
• Pod Point: Red or flashing red light — There is a fault with your charger.
