Easee charger: Flashing red after using a key or the app

What Easee says to do

1. Easee says: if you used a key or RFID tag, check that it is registered and allowed to charge at this site; if another approved key is available, try it once.
2. Easee says: if you started from an app, check that you are using the account approved for this charger.
3. Easee says: if a charging operator manages your access, contact that operator.

A similar light on other chargers

The same colour and movement on another maker’s charger can mean something else entirely.

• Tesla: One red blink, repeating — Ground fault circuit interruption: an unsafe current path was detected, and charging is disabled.
• Tesla: Two red blinks, repeating — Ground assurance fault: high ground (earth) resistance was detected, and charging is disabled.
• Tesla: Three red blinks, repeating — High temperature was detected, and charging is limited or disabled.
• Tesla: Four red blinks, repeating — The internet connection was lost; online features are disabled.
• Tesla: Five red blinks, repeating — A communication problem between Wall Connectors linked for group power management; charging is reduced.
• Tesla: Six red blinks, repeating — Overvoltage or poor grid quality was detected; charging is disabled.
