Sky hub lights: what each colour means, by hub

Sky’s help pages are a click-through guide: choose your hub, then the colour you see, and each colour opens its own short article. The Sky Max Hub and the Sky Gigafast+ Hub share the same articles; the older Sky Broadband Hub has separate power, internet and voice lights.

One light, different meanings on Sky hubs

Where Sky gives the same main light a different meaning on different hubs. Knowing the colour alone is not enough.

  • Sky Max Hub: Your hub has been authenticated and will be ready in a moment; the light turns white when it’s connected.
  • Sky Gigafast+ Hub: Your hub is resetting (the Reset button was held for five seconds).
