Roomba: Error 14
The robot does not detect its bin. iRobot says to make sure the filter is fitted in the bin and to check the bin detect switch.
What the robot says: Reinstall the bin, then press Clean
Applies to: Roomba i Series. What you notice: red light, steady (solid); error number 14; a spoken message. This number is iRobot’s; on another maker’s robot the same number means something else.
What iRobot says to do
- Make sure the filter is installed in the bin, reinstall the bin, then press CLEAN.
- If the message persists, contact iRobot Customer Care.
