Philips TV: LED off and the TV does nothing (2019 to 2022 models)
On Philips TVs from 2019 to 2022, an LED that stays off while the TV does nothing at all, a TV stuck on the PHILIPS logo, or a TV that keeps rebooting or freezing is what Philips’s One Button Recovery is for.

What Philips says to do
- Philips says to disconnect the TV from the mains, then hold the TV’s joystick (pull it towards you if it is under the TV, downward if it is on the back) while you power the TV on again.
- Philips says to wait for the LED to blink in fast succession for a few seconds, or for the TV to boot; it then restarts into first installation and is set up from scratch.
Philips warns that the recovery puts the previously installed software back (not on Android TVs), and that a Calman-calibrated picture profile is lost unless it was locked first.
If the problem returns within 48 hours, Philips says not to repeat the recovery but to contact its customer support team.
