Hive thermostat: Receiver status light solid amber
The receiver timed out of pairing mode. It waits 40 minutes; if pairing has not finished by then, the status light turns solid amber.
Applies to: Hive single- and dual-channel receivers. What you see: a light.
What Hive says to do
- Hive says to start the pairing again from the first step to get the double amber flash back: turn the boiler’s isolation switch off and on, then press and hold the central heating (flame) button on the receiver.
