Hotpoint, Whirlpool and Indesit are one company in Europe (Whirlpool Corporation). Hotpoint’s washing-machine Quick Guide names its programmes in words (Cotton, Eco 40-60, Synthetics, Wool, Rapid 30 min and the rest), so those are not listed as symbols here; the icons it does show are the locked-door indicator and the Add Garments icon. Hotpoint’s key lock shows the words KEY LOCK on the display rather than a drawing. The dryer symbols come from Whirlpool’s help page for its compact heat-pump dryer. No Indesit-branded guide has been checked yet.
