Washing machine symbols by brand
Which symbols does your make of washing machine or tumble dryer use, and what does the maker call each one? Pick your brand. Each page lists only the symbols that brand’s own manual or support page shows (between 7 and 21 per brand here), in our own drawings, with the maker’s name next to ours and the document named.
Check your manual — models differ. A brand page tells you what that maker’s documents show, not what your exact model has. Two machines of the same make can carry different sets of symbols.

How a brand gets a page
A symbol is listed for a brand only when a manual or support page from that maker’s own website shows it, not just names the programme in words. A brand needs at least 6 such symbols with a page on this site; fewer would say too little to be worth a visit. Not published: Miele (no symbol confirmed as a drawing: the Miele manual cited on this site names its programmes in a chart, and a brand page needs at least 6 symbols the maker’s own documents show).
