Anti-crease (dryer)
After drying ends, the drum keeps turning now and then, without heat, so the laundry does not settle into creases while you are away.
What it is for
When you cannot unload as soon as the programme ends. You can open the door and take the laundry out at any time during this phase. AEG’s lasts 30 minutes by default and can be extended to 120.
Makes differ, check your machine’s manual: the same drawing can mean different things on different brands, and only your model’s manual says exactly what a programme does, how hot and how long.

Where makes differ
Bosch draws a turning drum; AEG a T-shirt with an arrow, flashing while the phase runs; Whirlpool calls it Wrinkle Shield. On a washing machine, the similar option is easy iron, which is about the spin.
Often confused with
On a washing machine: an option that reduces creasing, mainly by spinning more gently. On a tumble dryer: the iron-dry level, which stops while the laundry is still slightly damp for ironing.
