Iron: easy iron (washer) or iron dry (dryer)
On a washing machine: an option that reduces creasing, mainly by spinning more gently. On a tumble dryer: the iron-dry level, which stops while the laundry is still slightly damp for ironing.
What it is for
Shirts, blouses and anything you will iron. Beko’s washer version also washes at a higher water level with less drum movement and asks for half the programme’s maximum load.
Makes differ, check your machine’s manual: the same drawing can mean different things on different brands, and only your model’s manual says exactly what a programme does, how hot and how long.

Where makes differ
On a washer, Bosch, Samsung, Hoover and hOn all use the iron for easy iron or wrinkle-free; on Bosch and AEG dryers the same iron is the iron-dry dryness level. A care-label iron is different: it has one, two or three dots inside for the ironing temperature, or a cross.
Often confused with
A sensor dryness level: the dryer stops when the load is dry enough to fold and put away.
