tado thermostat: Radiator thermostat E2: no contact with the valve pin
Calibration failed: no contact was detected between the motor and the valve pin.
Applies to: tado° Smart Radiator Thermostat (on the Basic: warning and spanner symbols with four dashes). What you see: a code and a symbol.
What tado says to do
- Make sure the mounting bracket and any adapter are attached properly to the radiator, then restart and remount the thermostat to calibrate again.
- Some adapters need the pin extender that comes in the tado° box.
