tado thermostat: Radiator thermostat E1: valve closed position not found
Calibration failed: the closed position of the valve was not detected.
Applies to: tado° Smart Radiator Thermostat (on the Basic: warning and spanner symbols with two dashes). What you see: a code and a symbol.
What tado says to do
- Take the Smart Radiator Thermostat off and make sure the mounting bracket is properly tightened to the valve body, then restart and remount it to calibrate again.
- Some adapters need the pin extender that comes in the tado° box.
