PlayStation console: Pulsing red (PS4 only)
The PS4 is overheating. Sony lists no red light for the PS5.
Applies to: PS4 consoles only. What you see: red, pulsing. Where: the console.
What Sony says to do
- Turn the console off and let it cool down.
- Move it to a well-ventilated place.
- Make sure nothing blocks the vents.
If it is still wrong
If it keeps overheating, contact PlayStation Repairs. Sony: www.playstation.com
