Switch controller: Pro Controller charge light beside the USB port goes out

The Pro Controller is fully charged: the charge light beside its USB connector shuts off. A full charge takes about six hours.

Applies to: Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. What you see: no light, off. Where: a controller.

What Nintendo says to do

Charge it from the dock’s USB port with the included USB charging cable (the console does not need to be in the dock), or plug Nintendo’s AC adapter (HAC-002) straight into the controller.
