Applies to: Framework Laptop 13 (article dated 24 September 2025; it names no processor generation), Framework Laptop 13 Pro with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 (article dated 18 May 2026), Framework Laptop 12 (article dated 24 September 2025) and Framework Laptop 16 (article dated 24 September 2025). Framework publishes one table per laptop line, and steps 6 to 9 are not the same on every line, so check your model (Laptop 12, 13, 13 Pro or 16) before you read a count.

What Framework says to do

Framework’s page gives no step you can do from outside the laptop for this state: it is what the laptop normally does, or the meaning above is all it says.

Framework says the LEDs are next to where you have your adapter plugged in. Its table starts with the white blink and then lists steps 1 to 12, so count from the first blink after the white one.
