Framework Laptop 16 lights: what each colour and blink means

A Framework Laptop 16 runs a blink-code check on the LED next to the port the power adapter is plugged into: one white blink, then 12 numbered steps, each green if it passed and red if it failed. Steps 6 to 9 are the Laptop 16’s own and name its swappable parts and two fans: input module, left fan, right fan, GPU module. Steps 1 to 5 and 10 to 12 read exactly as on the Laptop 13 and 12, so they share one page each.

Framework’s table for the Framework Laptop 16 is dated 24 September 2025. Same LED and same counting as the other Framework lines: white to start, then blinks 1 to 12, green for a pass, red for a fail. Steps 6 to 9 are different on the Laptop 16 (input module fault, no left fan, no right fan, GPU module fault); steps 1 to 5 and 10 to 12, and the orange-then-8 post code bits Framework says to ignore, are the same as on the Laptop 13. 1. One white blink: the diagnosis is starting
