Framework Laptop 12 lights: what each colour and blink means

A Framework Laptop 12 runs the same kind of blink-code check as the Laptop 13, on the LED next to the port the power adapter is plugged into: one white blink, then 12 numbered steps, each green if it passed and red if it failed. Two steps are the Laptop 12’s own: step 6 checks the input deck and step 8 the camera module. The other ten read exactly as on the Laptop 13, so they share its pages.

Framework’s table for the Framework Laptop 12 is dated 24 September 2025. The LED is next to where the power adapter is plugged in: a white blink starts the diagnosis, then blinks 1 to 12 are green for a pass and red for a fail. Steps 6 (input deck) and 8 (camera module) differ from the Laptop 13; the rest, and the orange-then-8 post code bits Framework says to ignore, are the same.
