Check your manual — models differ. Two Hoover, Candy and Haier dishwashers can carry different programmes, options and lights, and the same drawing can mean different things on different brands; only your model’s manual says exactly what a light or button does on your machine.
Read this first
Hoover and Candy are Haier brands; the source here is one Hoover manual, for the Dynamic HDP1D39W. On this model the salt and rinse-aid lights are only fitted to “selected models”, and pressing ALL IN 1 for combined tablets switches the salt empty alert off. ALL IN 1 stays on for the following cycles until you press it again, and it lengthens Rapid 24’ by about 15 minutes so combined tablets work better. No Candy- or Haier-branded dishwasher manual has been checked yet, so on those machines confirm the names in your manual.
