How long the phone or tablet ran on one full charge in a fixed mix of calls, browsing, video, gaming and idle time before it switched itself off.

What the number measures: Run-time of the test sequence from a full charge until the device shuts off.
Unit: hours and minutes per full charge
Test condition: screen at 200 cd/m², auto-brightness and dark mode off, power saving off. A smartphone repeats: call 4 min, idle 30, browsing 9, idle 30, video streaming 4, gaming 1, idle 30, data transfer 8, idle 30, video playback 4. Tablets run a different sequence with 66-minute idle blocks.
