Keurig lists this under ‘Brewer will not brew’ and gives a short reset routine for it; the guide does not name the cause.

What Keurig says to do
- Lift the handle and remove the K-Cup pod, if there is one.
- Close the handle and put a large mug on the drip tray.
- Press the power button once. The brewer may dispense hot water.
