Nest thermostat: H157 or H158: Heat Link removed from the app

H157
Our drawing: “H157”, on a round thermostat.

H157: the Heat Link has been removed from the app. H158: it has been removed from your account and the thermostat has disconnected from the app.

Applies to: Nest Thermostat E with a Heat Link. What you see: a code.

Codes this page covers: H157 H158.

What Google says to do

  1. For H157, reconnect the Heat Link in the app (Settings, Add product) and enter its 6-character pairing code if asked; the code is under the Heat Link cover near the left screw hole. Reset the Heat Link to factory defaults first if it can’t be connected.
  2. For H158, reset the thermostat to factory defaults (press the ring, Settings, Reset, All Settings), then set it up again in the app to reconnect it and the Heat Link.
  3. If the message stays, contact Nest support.
