Plusnet Hub Two lights: what each colour means
Plusnet’s Hub Two has one status ring on the front. Plusnet’s own help page for router lights refused our request (see below), so this page follows Plusnet’s published transcript of its Hub Two help video, which goes through every colour.

Blue light
Your hub is working fine.
What Plusnet says to do
- If you can’t get online, turn your phone or laptop off and on again.

Green light
The hub is setting up.
What Plusnet says to do
- Leave it for 5 minutes; it should then turn blue.
- If it doesn’t, turn the hub off and on again.

Orange light
You’re connected to broadband but your account might not be switched on yet.
What Plusnet says to do
- Wait until after midnight on the day Plusnet switches your broadband on.
- Failing that, a factory reset may fix it: press a paper clip into the reset hole on the back and wait 5 minutes.

Flashing orange light
There’s a problem with your broadband line.
What Plusnet says to do
- Check the broadband cable and the microfilter are plugged in correctly.

Red light
Your router may have a hardware fault.
What Plusnet says to do
- Turn it off and on again; if that fails, factory-reset it with a paper clip in the reset hole on the back.

Pink light
The hub has gone into bridge mode: it is set to work as a modem only.
What Plusnet says to do
- If you didn’t mean to do that, factory-reset the hub with a paper clip, or change the setting back in the hub manager.

No light
The hub has no power.

- Check it is switched on at the wall and the power switch on the back is pressed in; push all cables in firmly.
