Wash at 60 °C
Machine wash in water up to 60 °C on a normal cycle. Typical for coloured cotton, polyester and blends that should not be boiled.
What to do
Choose the cotton or colour programme at 60 °C or lower. 60 °C is the usual choice for bedding and towels you want washed hot; everyday loads come clean at 30–40 °C.

A North American label shows four dots in the tub for this limit (60 °C, about 140 °F, very hot).
Often confused with
Machine wash up to 60 °C, but on a gentler cycle with less agitation — the one bar under the tub is what makes it mild. Meant for easy-care coloured items.
