Wash at 60 °C, gentle cycle
Machine wash up to 60 °C, but on a gentler cycle with less agitation — the one bar under the tub is what makes it mild. Meant for easy-care coloured items.
What to do
Use the synthetics or easy-care programme at 60 °C or cooler, load the drum only about two-thirds full, and use a short or low spin so the item creases less.

On US and Canadian labels
On a North American label: four dots with one bar. In that system one bar is named the permanent-press setting rather than a mild cycle.
Often confused with
Machine wash in water up to 60 °C on a normal cycle. Typical for coloured cotton, polyester and blends that should not be boiled.
