Wallbox Pulsar Plus lights: what each colour and pattern means

The Pulsar Plus has one LED on its front, and Wallbox says it matches the colour of the charging wheel in the Wallbox app. Turquoise is the one to learn: solid turquoise covers plugged in and ready, paused and fully charged, and blinking turquoise is either a scheduled charge ready to start or, with Power Boost, a car waiting for power. Red is a fault; red that stays on for 30 seconds is a load-management pairing problem instead.

The light is the LED on the front of the Pulsar Plus or Pulsar Plus Socket.

1. Green light

   Initialisation is complete and the charger is ready to use. When you power it on, the LED turns green, fades, and turns green again once ready. It stays green until you connect your car or turn the charger off.

2. Turquoise light

   Standby. Either your vehicle is plugged in and ready to charge, the charge session has been paused, or your vehicle is fully charged.

3. Turquoise light blinking

   Either the scheduled charging session you created is ready to start, or, with Power Boost, your car is waiting for power and will start charging once enough is available.

4. Dark blue light blinking slowly

   Charging is in progress. When the charge is complete the light turns turquoise.

5. Yellow light

   The charger is locked. It must be unlocked, by a user it has been set up to allow, before a charge can start. With auto-lock on, it locks itself a few seconds after the last activity.

6. White light running round fast

   The charger’s software is being updated. The LED turns on and off during the update.

7. Red light

   The charger is in fault mode. Wallbox says the problem could come from the charger, the car or the electricity grid.

8. Red light that stays on for 30 seconds

   With Static Load Management installed: a secondaries error. The secondary chargers are misconfigured and cannot pair with this charger.

9. Orange light blinking

   MID meter configuration error: communication between the Pulsar Plus and its MID meter has failed.

10. Green, white and turquoise blinking in turn

    Stand-alone mode: this charger, the primary, could not pair with the secondary chargers of your power-sharing system. The misconfiguration is on this charger, not on the secondaries.
