Pod Point Solo 3S lights: what each colour and pattern means

The Solo 3S has one LED status light on its front. Pod Point’s guide lists eight states. Blue is about Wi-Fi, not charging, and yellow has three possible meanings: a scheduled charge waiting to start, Auto Power Balancing holding the charge back, or the charger locked.

The light is the LED on the front of the charger. If you have a schedule set, Pod Point says the light is yellow when you first plug in and turns green when the set hours begin. Pod Point home chargers only support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

1. Flashing white light

   The charger is powering on or updating its software.

2. Solid blue light

   The charger is in standby, is not connected to Wi-Fi, or is trying to reconnect.

3. Blue light flashing pink

   The charger is connected to Wi-Fi and communicating with Pod Point.

4. Solid green light

   Your vehicle is charging.

   Pod Point gives no step for this light.

5. Flashing green light

   Your vehicle is fully charged, or your car’s own settings have paused charging.

6. Solid yellow light

   The vehicle is plugged in, a scheduled charge is set and the charger is waiting to start. Or the Auto Power Balancing system is active, or the charger has been locked.

7. Red or flashing red light

   There is a fault with your charger.

8. No light at all
