Philips Fully automatic espresso machines: Alarm light on and the start light flashing

What Philips says to do
- Fill the water tank, put a cup under the milk frother and press the flashing start/stop button: the machine dispenses hot water to push the air out.
- If that does not work: switch off, empty the tank and take out the AquaClean filter if fitted, fill with fresh water, switch on, let it heat up and dispense 2–3 cups of hot water.
- If that works, put the AquaClean filter back and dispense 2–3 cups of hot water again.
