eufy Video Doorbell light: what each colour and pattern means

eufy documents battery and wired doorbells separately, and their colours differ: on a battery doorbell blinking blue means it has just powered on, while on a wired doorbell yellow is start-up and pairing and solid red means low voltage. Blue breathing means motion or a press on both. The HomeBase 2 that battery doorbells pair with has its own light, and solid red there means it failed to connect to the network.

The doorbell’s light is on its button ring. The HomeBase 2 (or Wi-Fi Chime) for battery doorbells has its own light on the front.

1. Blinking blue (battery doorbell)

   The doorbell has powered on.

   On a battery doorbell: it detected a person (in Human Only mode) or any motion (in All Motion mode), or someone is pressing the button. On a wired doorbell: it detected motion and is recording.

   Someone pushed the doorbell button.
