Smoke alarm

X-Sense: never ignore any alarm (XS01-WR manual). Check for signs of smoke or fire; if you see or smell smoke, evacuate immediately and call emergency services. If you are unsure what the hazard is, contact emergency services for guidance.

The X-Sense alarm on these pages senses smoke only. For a carbon monoxide alarm, follow its own maker’s instruction.

What X-Sense says to do about this signal

  1. Once you know there is no fire: X-Sense says the silence button on the alarm that started it mutes the interlinked alarms; pressing silence on one of the others does not silence the one that started it.
