Vibrate icon at the top of a Samsung phone: what does it mean?
On a Samsung Galaxy it means Vibration mode is on: calls and notifications vibrate instead of ringing.
What Samsung says
- Samsung Galaxy — Vibration mode. Vibration mode is enabled; calls and notifications will vibrate instead of playing a ringtone or notification sound.
Turn it off: Swipe down from the top right to open Quick settings; the Sound tile switches between Sound, Vibrate and Mute.
