Crossed-out speaker at the top of a Samsung phone: what does it mean?
On a Samsung Galaxy it means Silent (mute) mode is on.
What Samsung says
- Samsung Galaxy — Silent mode active. Silent mode is enabled; calls, notifications and other alerts are muted unless your settings say otherwise.
Turn it off: Swipe down from the top right to open Quick settings; the Sound tile switches between Sound, Vibrate and Mute.
