Error 0288h: computer display error.
Applies to: ThinkPad laptops manufactured in 2024 or later (Lenovo document HT516159). Lenovo says LED Diag was implemented beginning with ThinkPads manufactured in 2024, so an older ThinkPad or another Lenovo line may blink for other reasons; check your model.
What Lenovo says to do
- Lenovo says to connect an external display to the computer and check it (a step Lenovo marks for the customer or the service provider).
Lenovo’s first step for this code, reconnecting the display cable inside the computer, is marked for the service provider only.
Lenovo says that if the external display works, contact Lenovo Support for an LCD panel replacement, and if it does not, contact Lenovo Support for a system board replacement.
