Renault STOP warning light
The lamp Renault's handbook calls the urgent stop warning light. It comes on with other warning lights or a message, and a beep, when the car wants you to stop at once. The lamps and the message that come on with it say which system is at fault.

What to do
Red: stop as soon as traffic conditions allow, switch off the engine, do not restart it, and call an approved dealer. It also lights when you switch the ignition on, as a check, and goes out once the engine is running — that on its own is normal.
Other makes may use this drawing differently — check your manual. Makes differ: what this light means on your car, the other colours it may use for the symbol and what the car wants you to do are set by the manufacturer, so your car's owner's manual is the authority.

Other makes
Peugeot also has a lamp it calls STOP, but draws it as a red triangle with an exclamation mark — that one is on the master warning light page. Renault's own triangle lamp (red or yellow) is there too.
